Join us for a Farm to Table Dinner and Celebration for FACT's 40th Anniversary
This is a unique opportunity to meet with local humane farmers, FACT's Executive Director, and Board Members and enjoy an incredible humanely produced five course meal at Duke's Alehouse and Kitchen.
All proceeds from the dinner will go to Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT), supporting humane farmers and providing wider access to healthy, humanely produced food.
Duke's will be sourcing meats from Terra Vitae Farms and produce from Broadview Farm and Gardens (both humane farms that have been supported by FACT) along with ingredients from some other of McHenry County’s most sustainable, humane farms.
Please reach out to Charlotte Isles at cisles@foodanimalconcerns.org if you have any questions.
About FACT
Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) was the first US organization devoted exclusively to addressing the problems that result from raising farm animals in confined conditions and has been working for the humane treatment of food-producing animals since 1982.
We advance our vision - that all food producing animals will be raised in a humane and healthy manner, and that everyone should have access to safe and healthy foods - by supporting humane farming practices, promoting policies that make foods from animals safe and healthy to eat, and helping consumers make informed choices. Learn more at foodanimalconcernstrust.org.
During the dinner you will have a chance to talk to FACT's Executive Director, Harry Rhodes, Board Members, and some of the farmers that FACT has supported about our impact and why FACT is so unique.
